Society Identification

Each citizen needs a way to be identified. The fastest, and easiest way (for the citizen) to handle this is by a double-authentication system using a smart card and some biometric identifier.

The smart card will be all-purpose. All credit cards, bank accounts, police records, etc will be stored on it. Also, the card will be a visual identifier

• having the details of the individual on the front, much like a drivers license. This will allow for casual verification of identity (although it will not be a substitution for actual verification, as in the case of purchasing controlled substances).

A copy of all biometric stats, will be kept in a central repository in the case of loss or theft of a citizen's smart card. If the biometric is as central as a DNA test, no corroborating verification will be necessary.
