The issue of copyright, patent, and trademark is very difficult to resolve. Simply stated, copyright shall hold for 24 years, or until the death of the holder, whichever is shorter. Patents shall be given for physical invention and hold for a period of six years. Trademarks shall hold for the life of the holder, but with reasonable fair use.
The length of the various registrations may vary -- to more closely align with policies in other states.
