Society Regulation

Although import and export regulation will be minimal, certain products will be favored through government-subsidized support. For example, since the whole society is based on general openness and personal privacy, systems such as OpenBSD and Linux will have funded support centers, training, and certification, while other, closed products will have no such support.

Regulation will be difficult, because our primary export will probably be talent. Taking a second to look at practical matters, the state will most likely be island-based, and not have much of any kind of indigenous industry. Most goods will have to be imported, and only the talents of citizens will be able to be exported. This will make for interesting tax situations (especially since there will be no requirement for citizens to remain on our soil for any period).

It will require much study of current regulations in different socities before anything concrete can be laid down.
